The technicians supervise complex network modules and are in charge of network management. They perform troubleshooting on a daily basis. The work of a technician entails maintaining network, servers, and telecom equipment in an organization.

The technicians monitor big computer networks and servers for issues from a centralized location. They analyze problems, performs repair and event response on the network system, connect with site technicians and track issues to the resolution.

There are three primary roles in the Network Operation Center set up (NOC):

• To make sure maximum service availability and performance
• To facilitate consumer network services on primary devices
• To support engineering and other technical units

In general, network monitoring talks about the practice of overseeing the operation of a system network using dedicated management software tools. The network monitoring systems are used by the technicians to ensure availability and overall performance of system and network services.
